I've created a winter bucket list and this is on it...cross country skiing!

Since I live in the state full of snow and survived the Polar Vortex of 2019, I realized it was time to get out and explore our landscape a bit more.  I've never gone cross country skiing so I've been looking for a few ways to learn and now end up paying a fortune for all of the equipment.  Well, I found the perfect opportunity and thought I'd share it just in case you are wanting to try this sport too.

Beginning Cross-Country Skiing at Oxbow

• Join park staff for a ski through the Oxbow Valley.
• Skis - Bring your own or rent them for $5.00 from Oxbow.
• Ages - Recommended for ages 6+.
• Register here
• Of course, this all depends on the weather, so watch for updates on their Facebook event page.
