Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - The woman who was arrested last month for shoplifting at Apache Mall after she was dropped off by a limousine entered into a plea agreement Friday in Olmsted County court.22-year-old Karina Bourcy of Moorhead admitted to misdemeanor theft and assault charges, while prosecutors dropped a felony simple robbery charge and two other misdemeanor counts.

Rochester Police say Bourcy, who was employed as a personal care attendant for a Mayo Clinic patient staying at a downtown hotel, caught a ride in a limo from the Kahler Grand Hotel to the Scheels store, where she was accused of stealing over $300 in merchandise on August 10th. The driver of the limo that delivered the woman to the mall aided in her arrest by arranging to meet her for a ride back downtown at an intersection near the shopping center after speaking to the officers investigating the shoplifting incident.

Bourcy was sentenced to the time that she has already served in jail since her arrest.
