New Restaurant Opening in Rochester, Lumi, Wants to Hire You

Change is once again happening on 1st Avenue in downtown Rochester, Minnesota. If you missed the latest news, a brand new restaurant is moving into the old Dooley's location.

Wait?! Wasn't there already a restaurant in the old Dooley's location in Rochester?

If you were thinking that another restaurant had already opened in the old Dooley's spot, you are correct. After some major renovations, The Well Dining opened at 255 1st. Ave. SW in February 2023. Unfortunately, that restaurant closed in December 2023 and the spot transitioned into an event space.

New Restaurant, Lumi, Opening Soon in Rochester, Minnesota

Lumi Restaurant, located at 921 Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis, is making a move with its Mediterranean dishes. On August 23rd, the restaurant posted "We are coming Rochester." on its social media pages and it will be opening soon in the newly renovated space that was home to The Well Dining.

Lumi Restaurant Now Hiring For Its New Rochester, Minnesota Location

If you are looking for a job, Lumi Restaurant is now hiring for several positions at its new Rochester location. The restaurant hasn't opened its new Rochester, Minnesota location yet but they are currently hiring for a variety of positions.
