
Autopsy Ordered for Minnesota Man Pulled from River
Moorhead, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities have ordered an autopsy for a Minnesota man who was pulled out of a river earlier this week.

The deadly incident began as a missing person report around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators are now investigating his death.

Moorhead, MN Dies After Being Pulled from Red River, Death Investigation Underway
A news release issued on Thursday by the Moorhead Police Department says officers responded to the missing person report in a residential area along the eastern banks of the Red River in Moorhead.
Responding officers then found the man in the water. First responders retrieved him and transported him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead despite life-saving measures, the news release says.
Police are describing him as a 63-year-old Moorhead man. Authorities are withholding his name pending notification to family members.
His body was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office, which has been tasked with determining the man’s cause and manner of death, according to the news release.
Moorhead Police say the circumstances leading up to the man entering the water are under investigation. Police do not suspect the incident poses a risk to public safety.
