As a fan of Rick and Morty – one of the best and funniest shows on TV, in this writer’s opinion – I really want to taste McDonald’s legendary Szechuan Sauce. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, check out this story. And then start watching Rick and Morty. Seriously.

Long story short: McDonald’s introduced Szechuan Sauce during a special promotion for the movie Mulan back in 1998. It hasn’t been around since then, but a recent episode of Rick And Morty joked about how insanely delicious it was. It turns out that it is! It’s so good that people have gotten a little crazy over it.

really underestimated just how many people want to try this fabled sauce. Fans lined up at stores all across the country, only to be disappointed that the limited supply of sauce was a little
too limited. But after some backlash on Twitter, McDonald’s has
finally responded with some great news:

I knew it! There’s no way they could pass up a huge marketing opportunity like this. Fingers crossed this means that Szechuan Sauce will finally be coming to Rochester this winter. Am I…kind of looking forward to winter now? That’s a new feeling.

And now, a moment of silence for the one guy who paid over $11,000 for a bottle of Szechuan Sauce on eBay. You win some, you lose some!
