Christmas trees have been trending as the main decoration for the holiday since the 1890s.  Since then, 77% of people faithfully dig their fake tree out of storage or trek out to a tree farm to find their perfect tree each year, spending an average of $80 each time they buy that fresh tree.  Today, I think it is time to switch things up a bit.

Thanks to a few geniuses who were willing to try something new, I think the next new trend has already arrived in Minnesota.

Christmas Spirit on Wheels: Check Out These Minnesota Cars Decked Out for the Holidays

Last night, I was driving home from work after a pretty frustrating phone call left me a bit grinchy.  I even felt a bit like a "Karen" because I asked to speak with a supervisor.  (You would have too...trust me.).  In other words, I wasn't feeling the Christmas spirit as I started driving to my house.

And then...I saw something that made me perk up and smile.

Minnesota Car Goes Full Christmas Mode—You Have To See It!

It's a proven fact that seeing Christmas lights improves your mood.  We get happier when we see that twinkling lights in the sky.  And I did see Christmas lights...but they weren't in a spot that I would say is "normal".

The Christmas lights that I saw were on a car!

I'm not sure if I smiled because I saw Christmas lights or because I was a bit shocked by HOW I saw them...but it truly brightened my night.  I decree that we need more of THIS type of decorating in Minnesota (If you can't see the video below, check it out here.)

Jaxon Rose, I don't know how the lights are able to stay on but thank you for the awesome decorations and brightening up our world.

...but that's not the only car spotted in Minnesota with Christmas lights!
