Minnesota Girl Born at McDonald’s Returns for 10th Birthday Party
Most kids don't celebrate their birthday at the location of their birth, but one Minnesota girl can easily do that, as she was born at a McDonald's restaurant.
In 2014, Clare and Eric Evenson were driving north on I-35 when Clare felt the need to use the bathroom, they exited the freeway and stopped at the McDonald's in Lino Lakes, and what happened next shocked everyone.

Clare says that when she made it into the woman's stall, "two little feet popped out". The baby was arriving 12 weeks early, and was breech.
After waiting in the car for Clare to return, Eric and Clare's mom, who was also traveling with them, began to wonder what was taking so long. They both tell KARE 11, that they heard the screaming coming from the restaurant as soon as they opened the car door.
Clare was moved from the stall to the floor of the bathroom, and not long after that, Centennial Lakes police officer, Angi Kruyer, arrived at the scene to help with the surprise birth.
Clare is a registered nurse, and once the baby, named Eleanor, was delivered they discovered that she wasn't breathing, so Clare and Angi worked together giving chest compressions and using a mask and bag to help resuscitate the newborn.
Weighting just two-ponds, Eleanor was transported via ambulance to the hospital, where she remained in the neonatal intensive care unit at Gillette Children’s Hospital for just over 3 months.
Eleanor has been through a lot in her first 10 years, she also has a chromosome abnormality, that has led to several surgeries and therapy.
So when she was asked where she wanted to celebrate her 10th birthday, Eleanor and her parents decided to return to the place where it all stated, the Lino Lakes McDonald's.
Along with family and friends, Eleanor also got a visit from Officer Kruyer, she told KARE 11, "I'm not a nurse, I'm not a doctor, I'm just a cop, but she's my success."
