Super Bowl LII was played last night at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The game was excellent with the Eagles beating the Patriots, but the Halftime show was the main event for a lot of viewers. The surprise appearance didn't catch any Minnesotans off guard.

On Feb 5th of 2017, exactly one year ago, a poll was conducted by the Minneapolis Star Tribune asking who Minnesotans wanted to see during the Halftime Show. Justin Timberlake finished second in the voting right behind a Prince Hologram.

It wasn't a hologram but close enough.

Justin performed a melody of his hits and paid tribute to the late Minnesota Icon. He sang "I Would Die 4 U"  as a large projection of Prince was displayed on a large curtain behind him.
