Body of Murder Victim Discovered on Rural Minnesota Property, Investigation Underway
Wells, MN (KROC-AM News)- The discovery of a body on a rural southern Minnesota property has launched a homicide investigation.

So far limited information has about the homicide case been made public. The body was found in a rural area outside of town populated by just under 2,400 people.
A news release issued by the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were notified of the body discovery around 11:45 Friday night.
The body was found at an undisclosed property outside of the small town of Wells, which is about 20 miles northwest of Albert Lea.
Authorities Investigating Apparent Homicide After Body Discovery on Property in Rural Wells, MN
Authorities say the initial investigation indicates the person died by homicide. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification and because their death is under investigation, the news release says.
No arrest has been announced and no description of a suspect or person of interest has been released.
The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office is leading the homicide investigation and is being assisted by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
