New Rochesterfest Chairperson Named

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The chairperson of 2020 Rochesterfest was announced Wednesday during a ceremony at City Hall.

Succeeding 2019 Chairperson Kristine Ihrke is Judy Braatz, a longtime city resident with strong ties to the business community.

Braatz announced the theme will be “2020: New Experiences for Everyone.”

Braatz says most of this year’s events will once again take place at Soldiers Field Park, which will feature a new activation area.

Braatz also officially launched the Rochesterfest button logo contest. Rochesterfest will run from June 20 - 28th.
