You might know his coffee from his cart that is downtown.  You may have even grabbed his cup of joe at the Rochester Farmer's Market, or at his shop by Ye Olde Butcher Shop.  Wherever you've had his delicious coffee, now you can get a cup for free.

Old Abe announced on Facebook that if you bring in a donation of tampons, sanitary pads, diapers, deodorant, he's got a free cup of coffee for you.

#rochmn is back to school and that means we're working again with local health pros in the school district to meet immediate needs. Studying is hard enough, worrying about hygiene needs shouldn't be part of it. Current needs are women's pads/tampons and deodorant. Diapers too DM us with questions. As always, if you bring it in, we'll give you free coffee. Thank you. - Old Abe Facebook Page

I love seeing the community showing their local love!  We've even got some football players in town that are looking for donations too.  There isn't a free cup of coffee, but if you are curious, you can click here to see what the football players at John Marshall High School and Mayo High School are doing together to help others.

Do you know of other groups that are showing love in the community?  I’d love to hear about it! Send me a message on my Facebook page (Jessica On The Radio) or DM me on Instagram.
