
Olmsted Medical Center President Announces Retirement Plans
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - There will be a changing of the guard at Olmsted Medical Center next year.
Current OMC President Kathryn Lombardo has announced she plans to retire in 2019.
Dr. Lombardo will complete her six-year term as president on June 30, 2019 and then return to a limited clinical practice in psychiatry until the end of the year.
Lombardo joined the OMC Department of Psychiatry and Psychology in 1994. She served as department chair from 1999-2013, and was involved in countless committees and initiatives to improve healthcare access, quality, safety, and service.
