A Farmington woman suffered non-life threatening injuries after a crash on Highway 60 at I-35 in Faribault last night. The 55-year-old woman was taken to District One hospital. 

According to the State Patrol, at 8:03 P.M. a crash was reported at the intersection of Highway 60 and I-35 in Faribault. Two vehicles collided as one was attempting to enter I-35 Southbound. 55-year-old Cathy Hemish of Farmington suffered what was described by the State Patrol report as "non-life threatening" injuries, and she was taken to District One hospital in Faribault.

A 2005 Ford Ranger, driven by 84-year-old David Kissel of Reasnor, IA, was traveling westbound on Highway 60 and was attempting to turn southbound on I-35. As Kissel was attempting to turn onto the interstate a 2007 Chrysler Sebring, driven by Hemish,  was traveling eastbound on Highway 60. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.

Hemish had two passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Both passengers, a 56-year-old and 34-year-old were uninjured in the crash. The State Patrol indicated road conditions at the time were dry when the accident occurred.

Also responding to the scene of the crash were; Faribault Police Department, Faribault Fire Department, and North Memorial Ambulance.
