One of Rochester's Greatest Love Stories Starts with Tragedy

Every now and then you come across a love story that makes you sigh that two people, perfectly suited for each other, have found each other. This is one of those.

A few years ago I asked y'all to send in your love stories. One came from Trisha Kester. She had to go through some of the hardest trials and tests before she found her person.

April 22nd 2004 my family and I were hit by a drunk driver. My 6 month old daughter was killed in the crash and pronounced 2 days later. I was in a coma for almost 2 months. There was a man named Scott Kester that I never met but in my records it shows he was a respiratory tech who cared for me daily.
In 2011 I joined a dating website kind of as a joke. I met a lot of weirdo’s. Then there was this guy, the first date we talked for 5 hours straight, we talked about our past, our children, our ugly divorces and life now. Then everything clicked. He said,” I know this sounds out there but I remember you.” That man that I was chatting with and now dating’s name was Scott Kester. April 20th 2012 we got married.

That story still get me. As it should.
