Only Half Of Americans Are Sure They'll Get COVID-19 Vaccine

Business Insider published results of a poll that show only about half of Americans are sure they will get a COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available, "31% simply weren’t sure if they’d get vaccinated. Another 1 in 5 said they’d refuse."

The decision to vaccinate or not might have to be made for some time according to a Bloomberg report that says we're probably close to a year away from a vaccine: "People who get paid to make forecasts say there’s only a 9% chance that there will be a widely available vaccine for Covid-19 before next April."

Others, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, are more optimistic that a vaccine could be ready by the end of the year. Fauci told CNN, "I still think that we have a good chance, if all the things fall in the right place, that we might have a vaccine that would be deployable by the end of the year."
