True story of an incident that happened in Rochester, Minnesota at 2:38 am.

Have you ever watched the movie "The 'Burbs"?  At times, I feel like this movie is my life.

DISCLAIMER:  I have some amazing neighbors who are all so genuine and kind and I know would be there to help us if we ever needed a stick of butter or where I could run if there was ever an emergency.

I have one neighbor though that likes to wakes me up in the middle of the night.  A lot.  This letter is all about the latest incident that happened on a glorious morning at 2:38 am.

To the guy in Rochester, Minnesota that decided to mow his lawn at 2:38 am,

Hello.  I am your neighbor.

You may not realize this but I am on a radio morning show, which means, I get up super early to get to work.  Your little jaunt with your lawnmower for over an hour meant that I only got 3 hours of sleep.  I went to work tired, cranky, but...thanks to you...I had a very good topic for the show.

I did try to fall asleep while you were mowing.  I even took my COVID masks that I have a stash of and put them over my ears and my eyes to try to drown out the noise so I could attempt to fall asleep again.

No luck.

Now that I'm rested up a bit and not as mad, I would just love it if you would never do that again.

Sincerely,

Jessica On The Radio

I know there might be a few people in the world that don't believe me when I say that my neighbor was mowing his lawn at 2:38 am, but to prove them wrong, I did try to take a photo.  Unfortunately, because it was 2:38 in the morning, it is also completely dark outside.  So, yeah, the photo didn't really work.  But here it is just in case you wanted to see it.

18 Annoying Things that People in the Midwest are Doing

You know those Post-it notes that you used to put up on your mirrors or around your house to remind you of different things. Well, some people in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin could use a whole pile of those to put up all over their world because they need some refreshers on a few basic things. Most are about driving but there are a few other moments in life that you'll realize annoy you too.
