Here's Why Green Lights Are Shining Bright in Minnesota Right Now
As you know, Veterans Day is November 11th. This is a time when we pause and ensure our veterans know we see them, appreciate them, and support them. For the fifth year in a row, lights all over our nation are switching from white to green to show support for our Veterans. This change in color is called Operation Green Light.
When Is Operation Green Light in 2025?
This year, green lights are being turned on for Operation Green Light from November 4th until November 11th, 2025.

Here's How You Can Participate in Operation Green Light
This is one of the easiest things you can do to show your support - just get a green lightbulb from Menard's or Home Depot and switch it out with the white lights at your house.
Businesses, this might be more of a challenge for you, but we are already seeing those lights shine bright in Southeast Minnesota.
Olmsted County is proud to once again participate in Operation Green Light, shining a beacon of hope and support for veterans.
From November 4-11, the Olmsted County Government rotunda and campus signage will be lit green to show our gratitude and appreciation for all who have served. Check out these photos from our campus this evening.
