Olmsted Deputies Arrest Suspected Drunk Driver Arrested for 100mph Speeds in Oronoco
Oronoco, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is reporting the arrest of a suspected drunk driver who was clocked traveling over 100 mph.

Captain Tim Parkin said the arrest was made around 11:50 Friday night in the Oronoco area.
A preliminary breath test indicated the driver was nearly three times over the legal limit, the sheriff’s office says.

Parkin said deputies stopped a vehicle that was going 108 mph in a 55 mph zone in the 1700 block of Lake Shady Ave South.
The driver, identified as 20-year-old Daniel Outcalt of Oronoco, was showing signs of impairment and was arrested on suspicion of DWI, according to the sheriff’s office report.
Deputies brought Outcalt to the Olmsted County Jail in downtown Rochester where a breath test measured his blood-alcohol-concentration at 0.22, Parkin said.
Outcalt is being held on suspicion of third-degree DWI, Speeding over 100 mph and reckless driving. He was released from the jail over the weekend, according to jail records.
Parkin said deputies also cited a passenger who was riding with Outcalt for underaged consumption.
