Outdoor Concert Set For Mayo Park In Rochester Canceled
If you were looking forward to seeing this concert set for Mayo Park in Rochester this fall, you're out of luck-- because it has now been canceled.
It was back in late February that we'd heard about a stop here in Rah-Rah-Rochester that Jon Pardi and his 'Ain't Always The Cowboy' Tour was going to make. In fact, here's exactly what we said back then:
Quick Country 96.5 was proud to announce that Jon Pardi will be bringing his 'Ain't Always The Cowboy Tour 2022' right here to Minnesota's Med City, at Mayo Park on Thursday, September 8th, 2022.
Joining Jon on his 2022 tour will be Lainey Wilson (who just scored her first number-one song last year with 'Things A Man Outta Know' and is on that killer duet with Cole Swindell, 'Never Again') and newcomer, Hailey Whitters.
But now, sadly, that concert is NOT happening. Mayo Civic Center released a statement Friday, August 26th that said the event has been canceled. Here's the exact statement from the Mayo Civic Center website:
(Rochester, Minn.) August 26, 2022 – Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Jon Pardi Ain’t Always the Cowboy Tour has canceled its performance at Mayo Park.
All tickets for the performance will be automatically refunded. Please contact your point of purchase with questions.
For tickets purchased at the Mayo Civic Center Box Office, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions.
I'm not sure exactly what those 'unforeseen circumstances' are, but it appears that Jon's next stop on that same tour, set for next Friday, September 9th, at the BMO Harris Pavillion in Milwaukee, WI is still on-- at least according to his website.
One show here in southeast Minnesota that is still on, though, is Luke Bryan's Farm Tour stop at Gar-Lin Farms in Eyota on September 24th. But, it's SOLD OUT. However, Quick Country 96.5 has your shot to WIN your way IN, starting Tuesday, September 6th! Download our free Quick Country app and listen wherever you go so you don't miss your chance to win!
