Rochester, MN (KROC AM News ) - A Rochester teenager was sentenced Monday for a fatal shooting in the city last summer.

Olmsted County Judge Joseph Chase handed 19-year-old Courtney Ocegueda a 27-year prison sentence. Ocegueda earlier entered guilty pleas to second degree murder and 2 counts of second-degree attempted murder for shooting and killing 22-year-old Trumane Gillmore and wounding two other men at the Parkside Mobile Home Park in Southeast Rochester.

The shooting victim and the 2 other men, 18-year-old Jerome Zachary and 21-year-old Demonterious Jackson, had robbed Ocegueda of a shotgun and a watch about 2 hours before the deadly shooting on August 31st of last year.. Zachary and Jackson earlier pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the robbery and Jackson was sentenced to 68 months in prison, while Zachary received an 18 month prison term.
