
Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Minnesota Highway, Driver Injured
Authorities are describing the pedestrian as an 83-year-old man
Plymouth, MN (KROC-AM News)- A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle along a Twin Cities highway early Monday morning.

Officials say the person driving the vehicle involved in the deadly incident was injured. The State Patrol responded to the scene of the fatality shortly after 5:30 a.m.

Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Mustang on Hwy. 55 in Plymouth Monday Morning
The fatal collision occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Revere Ln. in Plymouth. A westbound Mustang struck the walker, the state crash report says.
Authorities are describing the pedestrian as an 83-year-old man from Minatare, NE. His name and more information regarding his death is set to be released by Tuesday afternoon.
The State Patrol identified the Mustang driver as 48-year-old Kenneth Dawayne Ward of Elk River. He was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
The state crash report does not say if the pedestrian was in the crosswalk. The intersection is controlled by a stoplight and the report does not describe the status of the traffic light.
