Red Wing, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Pine Island man was recently sent to prison for his conviction on charges connected to the discovery of tens of thousands of dollars worth of stolen property.

41-year-old Jason Krukow was given a 21-month prison sentence after he entered guilty pleas to four counts of Receiving Stolen Property in Goodhue County Court. 5 other felony charges were dropped through the plea agreement. Krukow was previously sentenced to 10 years on probation for his conviction in Olmsted County on charges stemming from the same investigation.

He was originally charged 2 years ago after a search of his property in Pine Island led to the recovery of stolen property from Minnesota and other states. Investigators also discovered stolen property at a rental storage business in Olmsted County. The stolen property included a skid loader and other construction equipment, along with semi-trailers reported missing in Missouri and Iowa.
