The National Weather Service tweeted out this image early this morning.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has also been issued until 3 this afternoon for a host of counties including Scott and Dakota Counties.
This has been a strange weather summer for portions of SE Minnesota. It seems we either get it all or nothing when it comes to weather or precipitation.
Right now the National Weather Service is expecting the rain to begin to arrive this afternoon, as we see another humid morning on tap. The long term forecast calls for a cool front moving through on Wednesday leading to the possibility of more rain/severe weather possibly coming through the area.
