Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Subscribers to the Rochester Post Bulletin newspaper will soon be receiving one less edition.

The PB says it will eliminate its Friday edition, beginning in January. The announcement was made Wednesday morning:

"Having a modern business model that fits today's world will allow us to improve the paper overall, while protecting our readers from price increases for the foreseeable future" said Publisher Len R. Small. "Everybody knows the world is changing, and we intend to prepare for a better future."

Last year, the Post Bulletin eliminated its holiday editions. That announcement came in May and a month later, the newspaper laid off eleven workers. Most were in the paper’s newsroom division.
