Powerball Jackpot Reaches Record High-$800,000,000
Undated (KROC AM News) - There were no big winners in the Wednesday night Powerball drawing and that has led to the largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history.
The game’s grand prize was worth $500 million at the time of the drawing. It will be worth $800 million - or more, if ticket sales surge as expected - for the Saturday night drawing.
The cash value of the jackpot currently stands at $496 million, before taxes.
The numbers for the Wednesday drawing were:

There were three 3rd place winners in Minnesota.Those tickets will pay out $50,000 to each winner.
