Rabe Shot – You’re Offended by a Female Doctor Who? Really?

The news is out! Jodie Whittaker is the 13th Doctor in Doctor Who.  This makes her the first female in the role in the history of the show and while a bunch of us thought, "Cool!" a sad bunch of dough-heads are outraged. OUTRAGED!

First, in case you haven't seen it....feast!

Now, to the dough-heads.

You know what? No. I'm not going to give 'em space. "The Doctor is a male, a male has to play it, it ruins the show to have a female play the part, it's PC gone mad, etc!" Whatever. I'm not going to guess their motives, but I'd say the "outrage" over casting a female means it's a good thing a female was cast.

You can see it time and time again, people seeing themselves represented in a role is HUGE! Maybe that's why so many men, specifically, are upset. They don't see themselves represented and it causes discomfort.
