Remembering Olmsted County Deputy Jack Werner

There are two Memorial days coming up.  The national Memorial Holiday honoring our war dead is May 29th and there's also the Law Enforcement Memorial Day on May 15th.

That is a day to remember and honor those officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.  Olmsted County Sheriff Kevin Torgerson talked about the ceremonies that will take place and that Werner's daughter Wendy who was just 18 months old when this happened, will get to attend the ceremony for the first time in Washington D.C.

May 17th marks the 40th anniversary of the shooting of deputy Jack Warner at the Apache Mall..
