The sound of a bell ringing is more than just noise.  Every ring that is being made by one of the red kettles for The Salvation Army is the sound of curing hunger, the sound of a child opening up a Christmas gift, or the sound of a place for someone to sleep safely.

This year, YOU can help make those experiences and more happen for people in Southeast Minnesota.  The Red Kettle Campaign for The Salvation Army kicks off November 14th, 2025 and every penny donated at the red kettles stays local.  And when someone is standing at a red kettle ringing those bells, on average, bell ringers help donations increase to $100 an hour.

How You Can Easily Sign Up To Ring Bells For The Salvation Army in Rochester, Minnesota

If you haven't signed up yet to ring bells, don't wait!  Below is a step-by-step guide on how to add your name to the bell-ringing list.

Step One - Decide how you want to sign up.

• Call The Salvation Army at 507-288-3663, or
• Sign up at the RegisterToRing website (this is the easiest option for individuals and groups).  If signing up online, continue with the following steps.

Step Two - Create a profile and provide your contact info

Step Three - Find the day, time, and location that works best for you and pick your shift.

Step Four - Read the local rules and age requirements

Step Five - Get your confirmation.  This will show up via e-mail.

Step Six - Show up, have fun, and share those smiles to all who walk by...and especially to those who make a donation.
