Awesome People Give Rochester’s 2nd Street Joe Enormous Chair
Have you heard the news? 2nd Street Flag Waving Joe has some new furniture, and it's a pretty big deal!
A post on his Facebook page, Second Street Waving Guy - Joe Johnson, was filled with smiles and pictures of the huge chair and Joe on the Royal Joe Throne. :)
Strange But True - No showers during thunderstorms!
"Today is a great day. Joe finally got a chair big enough for his personality. Big hugs to the big hearts of Easton, Caleb, Casey and Nicole! He is on top of his 2nd Street world right now!!!"
What an awesome gift! Joe's been having some medical problems (see more about Joe's medical issues here), he was in Saint Mary's for a while, and on May 7th he got out and when he has the energy, he's out there waving flags (a little smaller for now) and sitting down some.
I look at these pictures and I think; That chair is a huge hug from Easton, Caleb, Casey, and Nicole...and it's also a symbol of the size heart Joe has, the outsized love he has for everyone, and the phenomenal blessing Joe has been to so many of us here in Rochester, Minnestoa.
Oprah used to talk about having moments of gratitude. This is one right here. Soak it in and give him a honk next time you see Joe out on Second Street!
