Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A fiery crash yesterday near the Rochester Airport left a man and woman with severe and life-threatening injuries.

A spokesperson for Regions Hospital in St. Paul says both 41-year-old Daniel Kropp and 26-year-old Melissa Debus are listed in critical condition. The Rochester man and the Stewartville woman were transported to the medical center’s burn unit yesterday evening after their vehicles collided and then caught fire at the intersection of Highway 30 and Olmsted County Road 15 about two miles west of the Rochester Airport.

The State Patrol says Kropp was driving west on Highway 30 around 5:15 PM when his vehicle was hit broadside by a car driven by Debus. She was headed south on County Road 15 and the State Patrol report on the crash indicates she failed to stop at the intersection.
