Rochester Chef Protects Visiting Woman

He was leaving his job as a chef at Victoria's Ristorante & Wine Bar the night that it happened.

Roger, kudos to you man!

We're constantly seeing stories about men treating women poorly lately. In fact, it seems like we're reading them daily. I'll admit it - it's hard to read each allegation of sexual misconduct whenever the stories are shared.

This story, however, shows one man in our area protecting a woman.

Imagine what could have happened to her if she were left alone at night.

I'll assume (given the proximity of both locations mentioned), in total, that this act of kindness maybe took ten minutes out of Roger's evening. It obviously made this woman's day, and it restores the hope in Rochester that not every man is a creep.

Sure, we know they aren't, but this proves it.
