Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester City Council has approved the proposed Alatus project and work on the large residential and commercial complex could begin next year.

Monday night’s council vote was unanimous. The project includes $10.5 million in public assistance.

The project has two more hurdles to clear before work can begin. It needs approval from the DMCC Board to expand the St. Marys Hospital area development district to accommodate the $115 million project. And, the developer needs to finalize financing for the project.
