Rochester Couple Attacked by 20 Men

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man and his wife say they were assaulted Tuesday night by a group of about 20 men.

The couple, who are in their 20’s, say they went to the Rochester Square apartments complex around 8 p.m. to pick up someone when a man they know confronted them.

As the confrontation escalated, several other men became involved and began assaulting the victims. By the time the assault was over, the woman had suffered a broken nose and other injuries. She and her husband went to St. Mary’s for treatment.  

The woman told police one of the assailants took her cellphone.
