Now THAT is a big cannoli!

I went in to pick up the Y-105FM Pizza Party Trio of Pizzas from  Pasquale's Neighborhood Pizzeria and for the first time I look up and see the biggest desert ever! Oh, sure, maybe there's a larger cake somewhere, but a cannoli? Find that front door, please, and shut it! At least that's what I thought.

Turns out there was a larger one, once. Back in 2014, Ferrara made a 12 feet long, 350 pound cannoli, with 50 pounds of chocolate chips.

But that one is gone, man! GONE!  And an exhaustive worldwide search turned up no other giant cannoli. So while I'm certain it is the largest in Minnesota, I am 99% certain Pasquale's cannoli is the largest in the world.

Look at it hanging there. A few of us were talking about how big it must be. Sure, it's not very long, nor wide, but we guessed at least 75-100 pounds when you figure the filling and the chips.

I spent some time reading up on the cannoli. They originated in Sicily and range in size from cannulicchi (no bigger than a finger) to fist-sized. Wikipedia didn't have a cool "cann..." word for fist-sized, so I'm going with cannufista. If I'm wrong, please, let me know. However, you should be aware I will only notice those notes accompanied by a cannoli. I don't make the rules.
