Another Spot In Rochester Is Under Construction – This Kwik Trip On Broadway

It has been proven that men run out of gas more than women...but today, I almost added that to the list of "Things I Have Done In Public That Are Embarrassing".

Ok, I have already run out of gas once - today was almost #2.

I would have loved a heads up about this Kwik Trip in Rochester being closed before I was on fumes.  To help save you from this potential disaster, I wanted to make sure you knew that this Kwik Trip on Broadway is out of commission.  Well, not 100%, but if you are hoping to fill up your gas tank, you are out of luck for a bit.

One Of Rochester's Kwik Trip Locations Now Under Construction

With all of the construction happening in Rochester, you'd think I would know all of the names of construction vehicles by now - but the only one I know is a dump truck.  I seem to follow three or four every day when I drive to work.

While I may not know the names of the vehicles, I can verify that there are quite a few working hard right now at the Kwik Trip on North Broadway at 3111 Wellner Drive NE.

Google says that you can fill up for $4.60 with regular gas at those pumps right now...but I am going to be completely honest with you right now...there is no way that is happening.  The pumps are currently missing.

Don't Let The Fences Scare You Away From Buying Dunkers and Bananas At This Kwik Trip in Rochester

Kwik Trip announced a few months ago that they have 11 new stores planned for Minnesota in 2026.  They seem to also have quite a few construction projects going at several of their existing locations, including this one in Rochester.

This Kwik Trip store on North Broadway does seem to have quite the barricade of fences - but don't be scared.  I did see people going in and out so I am pretty sure the store part of this Kwik Trip is still open.

I was running on fumes...so I did not have a chance to go in and chat with anyone.

Hopefully this is fixed soon.  For now, I guess I'm finding another route home on the days I need to fill up with gas.
