Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man who has already been sent to prison for a DUI conviction came close to doing another term for his most recent case.

Court records show 44-year-old Gilbert Jordan was pulled over for speeding on S Broadway in the early morning hours of Sept. 2nd. A preliminary breath test showed he had a blood/alcohol level of .12 and he was arrested.

Jordan pleaded guilty to a felony DWI charge and was given a 75-month prison sentence that was stayed for 7 years. That means he could end up in prison if he violates his probation during that time. Jordan has also been ordered to serve two 90 day jail terms this year. He will also have to serve staggered home detention terms through 2025.

Records show he had 5 prior DWI convictions before his most recent arrest. He was sentenced to 72 months in prison in 2014 for his 5th conviction.
