Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced for his role in a scheme to take money from a person with Alzheimer’s disease.

51-year-old Michael Krahn earlier entered a guilty plea to one count of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult. Three other fraud-related charges were dismissed.  He has been placed on probation for 5 years and has been ordered to pay $12,900 restitution.

Krahn and his wife were charged last summer with taking about $30,000 from the victim’s bank account over a two-year period. Jennifer Krahn pleaded guilty to the same charge and was also placed on probation for five years. Her restitution was put at $10,000.
