Rochester Police Investigating Suspicious Incident at City Park

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police are investigating a report from a 13-year-old boy involving a strange man who apparently tried to make contact with his 3-year-old sister Monday.

The boy says the two were at Badger Ridge Park around 4 p.m. when a white SUV pulled up and the male driver asked the girl to come to his vehicle. The boy says he walked over to his sister and the man said “never mind” and drove off. The boy described the man as white and in his mid-30’s.

Police checked surveillance cameras and found evidence of a white SUV in the area at the time.

The park is south of Mayo Medical Laboratories located near the intersection of West Circle Drive and Valleyhigh Road NW.
