Not sure if you remember but last summer it seemed like all of downtown Rochester was under construction at the same time.  Every road around our studio was torn up.  Places where you could park before the construction were now gone.  It was just frustrating.  Imagine being a visitor to Rochester and having to deal with this parking and driving disaster.  Last summer, even Google couldn't figure out our roads.  (You can read about that here)

Now Rochester has a new way to pay for parking, an app.  Although it is a great tool, it can be a frustrating addition for visitors.

A local restaurant in Rochester is stepping up and wanting to help.

"Everyday we hear from our guest that visit Pasquale’s especially the seniors, visitors that come to Mayo Clinic for medical needs, some with handicap needs and they are trying to figure out how to pay for Parking spots. They get frustrated and additional stress is added to their experience of Rochester. So we have decided let’s take a simple approach and help make the process a little simpler and community driven." - Pasquale's Neighborhood Pizza Facebook page

If you are in need of a few quarters for parking, know that Pasquale's Neighborhood Pizza has a great big jar full of them.  If you are able, you can give back and drop in your quarters too!

Do you know another company that is helping others in the community?  I'd love to hear about them.  Send me a message on my Facebook page (click here) or DM me on Instagram.
