I said it earlier today when I was on the 1st Ave. stage at Thursdays Downtown introducing one of the bands...and I'll say it again...I LOVE this event in Rochester!
If you've never gone to Thursdays Downtown - or maybe you just haven't had a chance to get there recently - find a Thursdays this summer and add this popular event in the Med City to your calendar. It is one you do NOT want to miss this summer. Below are a few of the top things you'll find at this event that brings thousands to the downtown area.

If you are looking for a fun block-party-style event, Thursdays Downtown in Rochester is the place to be. Just head to 1st Ave. on Thursdays from June 11th until August 13th this year for food, live music, and family-friendly fun.

I am always amazed at the talent we get to witness at Thursdays Downtown. Walk around near the Peace Plaza to view all of the artisans and fun items that are available for purchase. (Psst...this is a great way to support local artists AND a great way to get some early Christmas shopping done too.)

If you are hoping to grab a bite to eat...or a beverage...enjoy the many vendors that are set up. Most of these are located on 1st Ave., although you'll find a few others near the Kahler Hotel too.
