Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Two Rochester police officers escaped injury but the squad car they were in was totaled while they were responding to a fire call on Marion Rd.

It happened around 7:00 PM Sunday.

The State Patrol says the squad was driving south through the intersection of 12th St and 15th Ave SE when it was hit by an eastbound car. That vehicle was driven by 19-year-old Ky Vo of Winona.

The squad was driven by Officer Grant Fedderson. The officer riding shotgun was David Drees.

The State Patrol says no injuries were reported at the scene and that the crash “ is still an active investigation.”
