Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman has been charged with ripping off the state’s Medicaid program by cheating on her timesheets.

An investigator found the woman claimed she was working as a personal care attendant at the same time she was working shifts at the local Victoria’s Secret store.

Five felony theft charges have been filed in Olmsted County Court against 31-year-old Sokheng Moeurn.

An investigator with the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office was assigned to the case. The investigator checked records and timesheets at the two health care providers where she worked between Jan. 1, 2019, and Feb. 14th, 2021. Her records at Victoria’s Secret were also checked.

The investigator determined there were more than 200 instances in which her documented PCA services overlapped with her shifts at Victoria’s Secret. This resulted in more than 800 hours of fraudulent claims that paid Moeurn $9000 in wages.
