Rochester, You Made Lola’s Snow Dream Come True! – [Video]

Lola was the speaker at the Go Red for Women Luncheon Thursday, and she really touched our hearts with her story, her strength, and her advise. And, really, her heart. But, we were able to pay her back by making her snow dreams come true!

Lola is our beautiful and bright 15 year-old daughter who was born with a very rare congenital heart defect called "Ebstein's Anomaly."

...Lola underwent surgery at Rochester, MN's Mayo Clinic. Dr. Joseph Dearani, her cardiovascular surgeon, performed surgery on November 6th, 2013. Her surgery included Tricuspid Valve repair, close an Atrial Septum Defect, Right Ventricle plication, reduce the Right Atrium and a Bidirectional Glenn Shunt.

When she was on the air, she talked about wanting to play in the snow. She flew all the way here from Puerto Rico and was SO excited to play in the snow. Because, well... no snow in PR.

Congratulations, Rochester... first Mayo helped give her a new lease on life, and now Mother Nature came through and made Lola's dream come true!
