Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Record snow and now record cold.

A cold-weather record was broken at the Rochester airport early Tuesday when the mercury dropped to 17 degrees. That broke the previous record low for April 14 of 18 set in 1962.

Record lows are also possible the next two mornings before warmer air returns by this coming weekend. Normally this time of year highs are in the mid 50s and lows in the mid 30s.

Rochester set a record Sunday when the airport recorded 7 ½ inches of snow.
