RPU Crews Hard at Work Restoring Service

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – About 200 RPU customers were without power as of 8:00 AM Wednesday, mostly in the SW part of the city.

Thousands lost service after the Tuesday storm hit the city and RPU crews worked through the night to repair damage, much of it caused by downed trees and branches.

At one point, the stretch of 18th Ave SW between Mayowood Rd. and Westwood Rd. was closed because of so many downed trees and powerlines.
