His schedule is filling up now, but this poor boy was SO lonely!

Earlier this week, I noticed a very sweet pup looking pretty sad on Facebook. It turned out that his name is Sting, and he's a therapy dog. Sting visits the White Bear Lake Library, in hopes that kids ages 4-8 will spend some time with him - and gain an interest in reading.

Sting was sad because no one signed up to read to him!

Once that fact was made public by his owner, Sting became VERY popular. He's booked to be read to through April now!

The Star Tribune writes, "The post has been shared nearly 100,000 times and within hours of Sting’s lonely visit to the library, his reading schedule was full through April (other Ramsey County Library locations have openings)."

However, you can still sign up to read to him here.
