Popular Celebrity Showing Up in Southeast Minnesota on July 24th

I interrupt this extremely hot, summer day to let you know that a very popular celebrity is making a visit to Southeast Minnesota on Monday, July 24th!  Normally, we see this popular dude when the temps are below freezing in Minnesota so it will be fun to wave at the big guy while our fingers aren't frozen.

Find your ugly sweater and get ready for some Christmas fun in July at a popular golf course in Rochester.  The second annual Golf for Good tournament is happening at Willow Creek Golf Course and everyone is invited!

Golfer registrations are still being accepted and the really cool thing is that all of the proceeds from this event will be helping individuals and families who are struggling.  (And based on my conversations with lots of non-profits in our area recently, we have LOTS and LOTS of people who really need some extra help right now.)

Everything You Need to Know About the Golf for Good Tournament in Rochester, Minnesota

We aren't throwing fake snow and bringing out the Christmas decorations just for fun.  The Golf for Good tournament has one BIG purpose and that is to help individuals in Olmsted County who are struggling with paying their rent, utilities, and those who are chronically homeless.  Here are a few more details about the Golf for Good tournament:

• When:  Monday, July 24th
• Where: Willow Creek Golf Course (get directions here)
• Tournament Details:
  •    11 am - Registration and Lunch
  •    Noon - Shotgun start
  •    5:30 pm - Dinner
