GOOD NEWS! Rochester Restaurant Is Open Again After Temporary Closure

A little bit of good news just popped up for all the foodies in Rochester, Minnesota!

FOODIE ALERT! Good News Just Announced by Local Rochester, Minnesota Restaurant

Life can sometimes throw us a curveball and unfortunately, that happened recently for a business in Rochester.

In case you missed it, Nupa, which has two locations in the Med City, let its fans know on April 29th, that the exhaust fan failed at their South location at 412 Crossroads Dr. SW in Rochester.  Unfortunately, having this item being out of commission meant that this specific location had to close temporarily.

Despite our best efforts, we have decided to temporarily close our South location until our new exhaust fan is installed. Thanks to all who have supported us! North/Civic Center will remain open normal hours and all catering will still be fulfilled. - Nupa Facebook Page

Community Showed Up To Support Nupa During The Temporary Closing

One of the most heartwarming things that I read this past week was the note that Nupa posted on its Facebook page a few days ago after the temporary closure was announced.  Not only were fans of the restaurant wishing them the best, but they were also showing up at Nupa North, located at 1035 Civic Center Dr. NW to order food and show support.  In fact, about a week ago, that north location had a record day!

GOOD NEWS!  Nupa South Is Back Open in Rochester, Minnesota

I've been trying to keep tabs on how Nupa was doing and looked this morning before work started to check on the status of the south location.  At some point, while I was sitting in the Y-105FM studio talking today, I got a comment from Nupa on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio - with the following good news:

Thanks for mentioning us!  Both locations are now open.
