SNOW HACK: How to Keep the Plow from Leaving a Pile of Snow in Your Driveway #supersnowva

Since #supersnowva is upon us, I talked with MnDOT's Mike Dougherty about all things plow. Do the drivers like it? How many do you have out? Can we bribe the drivers to leave their plow poop across the street on the neighbors driveway (and if not, how do we stop it)? He answers 'em all!

The highlight is at the end, where he gives us the snow hack to keep the plow from leaving a holy mess in your driveway for when you get home.

The hack is pretty simple. Stand looking out of your driveway. Clear a large area out to the left  of your driveway, and a bulk of the snow in the blade'll empty into there, leaving just a trickle for your driveway.
