UPDATE December 1, 2021
In February 2020, our family announced that we, the Pappas Family, were selling the historic Hubbell House in Mantorville to another well-known restaurant family - the Powers Family.
Then the pandemic hit and restaurants closed for dine-in service. The altered landscape put the transition on hold for the remainder of 2020 and 2021.
We are excited to announce the transition will be coming to fruition. On January 1, 2022, Powers Ventures will take ownership of the Hubbell House and we will close for a few months for a kitchen renovation. The front of the house will remain mostly as is now, and the atmosphere and historic theme will remain the same for all to enjoy. We hope to re-open the Hubbell House with a great new kitchen in April 2022.
Thank you for over 75 wonderful years and for your upcoming patience and understanding as the renovations are completed.
Throughout our history, we've always said we have the best customers and staff. The past 21 months have been challenging and unpredictable, yet our hearts are so full. The loyalty, support, flexibility and patience of our customers and staff have been invaluable. We cannot thank you all enough for your support, and we know you will all be in good hands come January with Powers Ventures.
With gratitude,
The Pappas and Powers Families
